OW JIE QI ASHLEY

Ashley Ow Jie Qi graduated in 2023 with a BA(Hons) Music degree from the School of Contemporary Music, LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She specialised in classical piano performance and has had experience playing a wide range of repertoire.

 

In 2020, Ashley graduated with a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology from Singapore Polytechnic before completing her ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano Performance in 2021.

 

Ashley started teaching piano to young children and adults in 2020. Her approach to teaching is through creative methods such as activities and games to engage the younger students.

She has also worked on commercial projects during her internship role with White Noise Music on audio post-production, music arrangement, editing and more. She was also an intern with Campus Magazine to produce 2 podcast episodes and wrote a few works for the site.

 

As a pianist, Ashley wishes to focus more on piano collaboration in the future, working and providing accompaniment to both musicians and dancers. She also hopes to further explore other genres of music, such as Pop, Jazz and Latin.

She is also aiming to explore different roles within the music industry as she crafts her career path.
